2025 is our Year of GROWTH

Ephesians 4:15-16 New Living Translation

Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

Each day, we invite you to set aside a moment to lift up specific requests related to individual spiritual maturity and our church growth, knowing that God will hear and answer. It’s not just a list of requests; it is a collective call to seek God’s wisdom, guidance, and blessings for every aspect of our lives and our church.

Scripture: 1 John 3:18 – “Little children, let us not love in word or talk but indeed and in truth.”
Prayer: Father, help me to love not just in words, but in actions. May my love be evident through my service, generosity, and kindness toward others. Amen.
Reflection: Love is demonstrated through action. Reflect on the ways you can love others practically to Feb. Are there specific acts of kindness, service, or generosity that God is calling you to do?

Feb 25: Love for The Lost

Scripture: Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God (2 Cor 4:4 NLT)
Prayer: for the lost: in our communities, loved ones, friends, the wide world.
Satan has blinded the eyes of many, with lust of the eye, lust of the flesh and the pride of life. His major weapon is deception. We prayer that every blindfold of his be removed.
We pray that You would reveal Yourself to the lost in powerful and personal ways. Break down any barriers that prevent them from receiving Your love, and soften their hearts to Your call. Amen

Feb. 17 - Praying gratitude for God’s unconditional love

Scripture: Romans 5:8 – “But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed one) died for us.” (AMPC).

Prayer: Let us pray to the Father, personally! Thanking him for His unending, unfailing love toward us, individually. Father, I come to you in gratitude, that you sent your son to die on the cross for me. Help me, not only to feel or sense, but to so deeply know Your love in every area of my life, that I may passionately share it with those who are still in darkness, like I was when you found me. May Your love overflow in and through me to others. Amen.

Reflection: God’s love is unconditional and sacrificial; it was pre-planned without your input. Reflect on how God did not wait for you to be cleaned up, before he could redeem you through the sacrifice on that Cross. His love has been demonstrated in your life over and over, stop, reflect and cast your mind to remember. If you don’t remember, desire it and pray that you do, reflect on the cruelty and necessity of the sacrifice of the Christ, Jesus. Because of his faithfulness, you will experience him deeply.

Feb. 18 - Pray for Spiritual Growth and Praying without ceasing

Scripture: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death. Phillipians3:10 (KJV)

Prayer: Lord I pray to develop intimacy with Jesus at the place of prayer: firm, durable spiritual intimacy with God the father, Jesus and the person of the Holy Spirit. I pray that all in my family will desire and be blessed with the same intimacy. We ask dear lord that, as Generation Church and as the whole body of Christ we will continually pray for every one of us, to grow in our depth of knowing Him.

Reflection: The Primary goal is that we may know Him deeply. inside and out (Jesus the Christ and God the Father and His Holy Spirit). Intimacy with Jesus is deeply to be desired. God has given us an earthly example: Just as, wholesome intimacy in marriage, creates a meaningful and lasting relationship; intimacy with God through prayer, creates a meaningful and lasting Spiritual Relationship.

Feb. 19 - Power of Constantly Living in Sonship

Scripture: John 1:12-13 - King James Version (KJV) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Prayer: Let us pray that this overriding state victory is our all the time, in all circumstances. Indeed, that we hope in Christ, ACCORDING TO OUR SONSHIP! Participating in the father's things as Heirs (Sons, not children), not beggars.
Reflection: When we joyously sing 'I am a child of God', we really mean heirdom or sonship (genderless: Gal 3:26, Also Rom 8:14). Our father owns all things and as creator has power over all things in the universe. He has given us the Authority as Heirs, to use the unlimited Power of his Holy Spirit, to express our sonship/heirdom. Therefore, we live in VICTORY! Such things as fear, lack, sickness and disease etc, are not of us. Should we be assailed by them, we pray with the authority we have been given, and take our Victory, Glory to God!

Feb. 20: Holy Spirit Works in Us

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:10-11 "these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God". For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
Prayer: Let us pray and trust God for this as it is written in the Bible. It is our God given right.
Reflection: 1 Corinthians 2:10-11 emphasizes the profound role of the Holy Spirit in revealing divine truths to believers. This passage illustrates how the Spirit searches and knows the deep things of God, enabling believers to grasp spiritual wisdom that is otherwise inaccessible through human intellect alone.
5

Feb. 21 - Living out our Purpose.

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the unique purpose and destiny You have for my life as Your child. Help me to walk boldly in the calling You have placed on my life, fulfilling Your will and bringing glory to Your name. Amen.
Reflection: God has a unique purpose and plan for your life. Reflect on how your identity as a child of God shapes your understanding of your purpose. Are you walking confidently in the destiny He has prepared for you? Let us embrace the future He has for us with hope and trust, by praying consistently
6

Feb. 22 - Prayers for the youth

Scripture: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me- (Phil 4:13)
Prayer: I pray that God will empower our youth to attain excellence in all their endeavours. As they grow in their spiritual journey. God will grant them grace to do exploit with their faith, sharing with their counterparts, with all boldness. Daniel 11:32- the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploit.
Reflection: This means that our youth have the equipment, resources and enablement to operate in the supernatural or realm of signs and wonders.

Feb. 22: Love and Forgiveness

Scripture: Ephesians 4:32 – “Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
Knowing that love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).
Prayer: Father, help me to forgive others as You have forgiven me. Let love lead me to forgive and release bitterness, knowing that forgiveness brings freedom and healing and that Lord, thank You that love covers a multitude of sins. Help me to extend grace and forgiveness to others, just as You have done for me. Let my love be a healing balm to those around me. Amen.
Reflection: Forgiveness is one of the clearest demonstrations of love. Reflect on the power of forgiveness in your own life. Let us, as individuals, within our church listen for any ways in which we may be unaware that we still need to forgive someone. Let God’s great act of forgiveness and complete redemption, so consume us, that forgiving others will become self-compelling, in our hearts. Moreover, in forgiving there are confirmations, through the unlocking of those wonderful things we have desired and failed to understand why we are not getting, despite what appears to be our faithfulness before God in every other respect.
